Leslie Ann Powers (born on September 12, 1971 in Washington, D.C.) is an American film and stage actress best known for her role as Penny Pingleton in the 1988 John Waters film Hairspray. On the DVD commentary track for Hairspray, Waters stated that he does not know what became of Powers.
